The Butterfly Appeal
The Appeal aims to raise £250,000 by 31 March 2008 in order to open an About Face Centre. The Centre will include a new surgical practice suite, a state of the art medical research support facility, a reception and meeting room for patients and families and short-term accomodation for visiting trainee surgeons, as well as administrative support.

Amongst donations recently received was £7500 on account of a legacy left to the Trust by the late Norman Raymont who had been Mr Ilankovan's first patient at Poole. The Trustees are grateful for this generosity and also for other recent gifts including:-
£400 collected by Canford School (Wimborne House) and numerous small donations.
